Galatea

“Galatea” is a modern-day version of George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion,” told from the perspective of two gay couples.

Harry is a middle-aged painter of some repute who’s lived with his partner Georgie, “just your average housewife,” for some thirty years. He invites a beautiful young man, Eli, to model for him – a matter of some concern both to Georgie and to Eli’s boyfriend Freddie.

This is a play about about love, loyalty, infidelity, marriage, class and art.
